Mains water contains Chlorine and many hard metals, that just simply are not healthy, or productive for a healthy and balanced nitrogen cycle.  The Aqua Pro water purifiers we offer are suited to the task of protecting our Koi from the harmful elements within our public water systems.

To have effective water purification it is best to allow for very slow flow rates.  The longer the water takes to pass through the purifier, the greater the benefits of the purification system.  A flow rate of one to two gallons per minute should adequately remove any nasty impurities, and the water can safely be added directly into your filtration system or the pond.

 Aqua Pro 310 Purifiers contains:

• A 5 Micron Sediment Filter Made From 100% Pure Polypropylene Fibres, Removes Dirt, Sand and Rust.
• A Granular Activated Carbon Filter Composed of High - Performance Activated Carbon. Removes Free Chlorine, Odour, Organic Contaminants, Pesticides and Chemicals.
• A Carbon Block Filter, Composed of High - Performance Carbon, Removes Trihalomethanes, Pesticides, Volatile Organic Chemicals and 99.95% of Giardia and Cryptosporidium Cysts.

Koi-keepers need to take great care to ensure that none of this compound reaches the pond as it can destroy the filter balance and seriously damage fish health.

Introducing the Aqua Pro 220 Purifiers

This 2 stage 20 inch Purifier utilises advanced activated carbon technology which allows excellent chloramine reduction as well as superior chlorine reduction. A 5 micron pre-filter provides sediment removal prior to carbon filtration which removes chlorine from the supplied water.

Aqua Pro 220 Purifiers contains:

System consists of two standard 20 inch filter housings with pressure relief and comes complete with:

1 x 20 inch 5 micron high capacity polypropylene sediment filter for the removal of sediments, dirt, sand and rust. This is normally used in the first stage of a multi stage water filter system. 

1 x 20 inch carbon block filter, this Filter is Effective in Removing Chlorine, Pesticides, Volatile Organic Chemicals and 99.95% of Giardia and Cryptosporidium Cysts

Also supplied with mounting brackets, housing wrench, supplied with either 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, or 1 inch inlet and outlet connections.
