Bacta-Pur® LITHAQUA is a marine mineral with a high content of minerals, trace elements and carbonates.  It brings them into your pond and thereby adjusts the mineral balance and improves the water quality.  Use it as pond substrate for bacteria to grow on and for fish to play in, or use it as a filter medium. 

Modern multi-chamber filters contain mainly plastic media.  Those are excellent supports for bacteria but they do not add anything to water quality.  It is important to fill at least one filter chamber (preferably the last chamber) with Bacta-Pur® LITHAQUA.  It provides an enormous surface area for bacteria (10 to 20 times more than most plastic filter media) and provides the bacteria with essential nutrients. 

Bacta-Pur® LITHAQUA neutralises acid pH and helps to restore carbonate alkalinity.

Kusuri Biobalance  "Natural non chemical buffer" is a fine powdered product that will improve alkalinity in pond / tank water providing a natural stabilizing effect on the pH of water.

Kusuri Biobalance is ideal for use in low alkaline soft water conditions (extremely low levels of hardness are also know to be detrimental to the osmosis & regulatory system of fish).

Kusuri Bio-balance will stabilize an eco system facilitating less pH "swing". Using Kusuri Bio-balance can increase KH & pH in a short period of time, unlike "quick fix" pH buffers once the desired level is achieved very small mainteance doses should only be required.

Kusuri Bio-balance Recommended dose rate:

Use Kusuri Bio-balance as a KH regulator 25 grams per 1000 gallons of water per day until desired KH is reached.  Repeat whenever required.

Use Kusuri Bio-balance as a pH buffer 25 grams per 1000 gallons of water per day for one week and continue at the same rate very other day until pH is stable. Repeat as and when required.

Kusuri Bio-balance will cloud water for a few hours on application.

Kusuri Klear contains beneficial nitrifying bacteria essential for filters, plus denitrifying bacteria to cope with any nasty ammonia.

Kusuri Klear, as its name implies, will increase water clarity and reduces protein discoloration and foam in ponds. Kusuri Klear is a highly concentrated liquid culture and weekly use is thoroughly recommended as a filter pro-biotic that reduces Ammonia, Nitrites, Nitrates and soluble Phosphates.

Phosphates as well as Nitrates are the major nutrients needed for blanket weed growth, using Kusuri Klear will reduce these nutrients, suppressing blanket weed growth.

Kusuri Klear Preconditioner is used in conjunction with Kusuri Klear.  Kusuri Klear Preconditioner will pre-activate Klear, in a heated container, with 1 litre of Klear.

1 litre of Kusuri Klear and 500ml of Kusur  Klear Preconditioner with 10 litres of pond water at 30 C for 2 to 7 days.

A preventive treatment is intended to prevent infection, and assist in natural therapeutic recovery from disease infection.

A number of very dangerous pathogenic strains of bacteria like Aeromonas, Pseudomonas, E. coli, , etc. can cause catastrophic fish losses in ponds. This has created a strong demand for an effective preventive treatment that does not involve antibiotics, disinfectants, or any other sort of chemical products.

Preventive treatment does not kill pathogens directly; it helps prevent and restrict their development. If pathogens get the opportunity to proliferate they can infect the least resistant fish. Good water quality reduces stress in fish and therefore reduces the risk of infection.

Kusuri Pro 100 is formulated to help reduce harmful water-borne bacteria. Kusuri Pro 100 contains the highest available concentration of natural beneficial bacteria. Every production batch is tested and guaranteed free of pathogens and dangerous chemicals.

Kusuri Pro 100  is a the highest concentrated formulation available (100 billion organisms per ml).

Kusuri Pro 100 is used as a preventative. The multiplying colonies of beneficial bacteria out-compete harmful strains of pathogens, by consuming the nutrients that they require to survive and develop. Effectively, Kusuri Pro 100 reduces the numbers of pathogens by occupying their “living space” and replacing the harmful bacteria with beneficial ones.

Kusuri Pro 100 can be used in any aquatic environment because it is absolutely harmless. It is recommended not to use UV or ozone equipment when starting the application for 1 week, and to aerate the pond.

Kusuri Pro 100 Doseage:

5ml per 1000 litres (220 gallons), add daily for 1 week,

Then after initial dose, add 10ml per 1000 gallons every five days.

(Below 15 C increase dose to 20 ml per application)

Product suitable for use at 4 C upwards.

Kusuri Sludgebuster contains selected bacteria to efficiently bio-degrade sludge in ponds, pipe work and filters. Regular use of Kusuri Sludgebuster prevents accumulation of organic sediments.

Apart from being unsightly and sometimes clouding water, by removing waste the beneficial bacteria eliminate the causes of noxious odours and reduce the oxygen demand (B.O.D.), meaning more oxygen is available for the fish. Kusuri Sludgebuster is best applied weekly or at least once a month.

Regular use of Kusuri Sludgebuster prevents accumulation of organic solids so that drains, pumps and filters require minimal cleaning.

Coarse sediments, such as leaves, should be removed manually whenever possible by removing organic waste. Ideal for use in ponds with no bottom drain system.

The beneficial micro-organisms in Kusuri Sludgebuster eliminate the causes for noxious odors and reduce oxygen demand in the water, so that more oxygen is made available to the fish. Kusuri Sludgebuster is best applied weekly or at least once a month.
